You can experiment with different blends instantly with its bean hoppers that are swappable. Its profiles allow you to pick up where you left at. It's also cheaper than capsule machines, and uses real beans instead of pre-ground beans.
1. Smeg BCC02
Created by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine combines the distinctive retro style of the brand with modern technology. It handles every step of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans and then tamping the beans into a puck to texturing milk and dispensing the correct volume - so you can create high-quality barista hot drinks by pressing one button.
The machine is also available in red, black and taupe. It will easily be incorporated into any kitchen style. It's not without faults however: the majority of reviewers found it a little expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it's not equipped with an insulated milk pitcher).
However, there were numerous positive reviews of the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of using this machine. The intuitive digital display provides an easy-to-follow guideline and feedback throughout the brewing process, helping you perfect your drink every time. The machine can even instruct you to alter the grind size, should you decide that's not what would like to do. It's like having a personal home barista (minus Harry Potter's invisibility cloak and Elon Musk's rocket-building skills).
If you prefer milky drinks, this model features an adjustable steam wand that can be adjusted up and down to accommodate all drinking vessels, but not the Viking's drinking horn. We were impressed with the speed and effectiveness of the frothing process, too. It creates an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a fantastic crema.
The BCC02 is a great all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and offers great value for money at the current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like some of the other bean-to-cups we've evaluated. It's got a 15-bar pump instead of the typical 19 bars, which isn't as good for making high-quality espressos. This is a fantastic machine for those who like their coffee strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of features that set it apart from the rest of the competitors. Its most distinctive feature is that it can be controlled from your smartphone via the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter the settings and dispense various coffee recipes stored in the machine.
This makes the machine extremely flexible and adaptable to your tastes. There are plenty of options to alter the strength of your drinks, as well as different sizes of cups and even whether or not you wish to add milk. The machine comes with two airtight containers of beans that are automatically chosen to accommodate different tastes. It defaults to standard espresso beans in one and cafe crem (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other, but you can choose any beans you'd like. There's also a handy chute for pre-ground coffee in case you'd like to use your own (for example when that nagging dinner guest brings their own).
Users have also been impressed by the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they have used. Another bonus is that the machine will alert you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, ensuring that you do not get caught running out of your favorite beverage.
The only thing that could be a disadvantage for certain people is the price. It's not inexpensive, with prices that are close to PS999. But, it's cheaper than similar Jura machines that have the same number of features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed up by an extensive warranty that provides two years of protection. This is a greater warranty than the typical one-year warranty. It's a mark of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer. The machine includes an cleaning tablet, as well as descaler. This makes it simple to maintain the machine. This is a fantastic machine for those who want to buy a high-quality, versatile bean to cup machine for a reasonable price.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is an amazing espresso machine that utilizes the power of artificial intelligence to make the best specialty coffees. It learns your preferences and alters the coffee menu to make it easier for you to choose your favorite drinks. Its intelligent cleaning and rinsing programmes start at the touch of an icon, making day-to-day coffee machine maintenance simpler than ever.
One of the unique features of the Giga 6 is that it comes with two coffee and milk spouts, which means it can create two different coffee recipes at once. This is possible thanks to the dual heating and fluid systems inside the machine. The spouts are adjustable for height and width to accommodate different cups. There is also bean to cup coffee machine which can be used to make iced-coffee or tea with hot water.
Another impressive feature of the Giga 6 is the ability to personalize and duplicate your favorite coffees. This is particularly useful when you want to drink the same drink in the morning and in the evening. You can, for example, create flat whites using regular beans and a duplicate with decaf.
